From The Ganges to Grace Bay

Four months after standing by the edge of the sacred Ganges in India, I now find myself standing by the edge of another body of water.  The Atlantic Ocean in The West Indies.  Providenciales Turks and Caicos.
Along the shore of the Ganges I saw throngs of people.  Bathing, praying, and meditating.  Along the northern shore of Provo, I spot a few tourists. In bathing suits, praying for the winds to subside and practicing a sustained single pointed concentration on the perfect tan.
I love both liquid locations equally.  However, I am less likely to don on my mask and fins to explore the sacred Ganges.  The coral reefs around Provo are as striking as a room full of women shopping for saris.  Smith's reef is a short bike ride.  A great spot for snorkelling.  A little farther afield is West Caicos.  Great for diving.
In my mind, both the Ganges in India and the Ocean in the West Indies are divine.  They provide transportation, purification and restoration.  They are both vehicles.  Same same but different.
